Now entering its 5th year, the Europe-Iran Forum is the world’s leading Iran business and economic conference. This year, the EIF5 will see significant changes to its event format in order to ensure that it remains the most-relevant and impactful Iran conference for the audience it serves. Bourse & Bazaar expects an even more senior gathering of individuals as the event format shifts towards technical discussion in the format of working sessions, anchored by plenary sessions.
Working sessions are two hour meetings led by an expert session leader. Each meeting has a pre-defined agenda for discussion by as many as 30 participant delegates. Designated assistants will be responsible for taking detailed notes from each session. These notes will contribute to the event’s formal output, a major report summarizing the discussion and making concrete policy recommendations in each of the programming areas.
Plenary sessions are comprised of panels and keynote speeches. These sessions focus on issues of broad interest to all participants. Keynote speeches will set the tone for the event and allow key announcements to be made. At the end of each day of the conference, a special panel comprised of the leaders of the working sessions will discuss the key takeaways and proposed action points from their meetings.
EIF5 will return to its landmark location at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland.
